To all drivers and club members
There will be a full members meeting at 7:00pm on the 12th December to discuss the up and coming race season and prepare for a major busy bee on the 15th and 16th of December.
These are must attend dates as jobs will be allocated at the meeting for the busy bee.
If any drivers cannot attend (either or both days) than please make arrangements for a pit crew or someone else to cover for you as all other club members will already be busy and should not be expected to have do extra because somebody could not be bothered showing up.
There are some big tasks to do including Major track work (Replacing some clay, resurfacing and improving the track camber), Work on the infield lights (strengthening the bottom and replacing some of the support cables), Modifying the staircase to the tower and a major tidy up in and around the club rooms.
There is also many smaller jobs like general tidy up and whipper snipping, battery’s to be collected and stacked, fencing to be fixed and the list goes on.
It is a huge logistical task to organise major work and get everyone together and I realise that it is getting close to Christmas but these things need to be addressed and before we know it the race season will be upon us, so please give me a call if you cannot assist on these dates or if you know of other jobs (or any of the above) that you would like to coordinate.
A sausage sizzle and a few beers after each day will be organised.
