The final West Australian Championship of the season will be held at the Carnarvon Speedway this Friday and Saturday night, with the running of the Modified Production Sedan Championships.

With the retirement of the Ellement's, David and Ben, this years event will have a new Champion, and will also become wide open with many drivers having a legitimate claim to the crown.

Both Travis Jackson and Shane Brittain will be extremely hard to beat on their home track, the wide and expansive 500m Carnarvon venue.

An impressive six drivers will come from Albany, while Brendan Selleck will travel from Kalgoorlie in the East, and Mick Johnson will travel from Broome in the North, with many drivers in between.

In total 28 drivers will contest the event, which will see Lance Freeman, Aydan Trewern and Ben Holland, three of the younger generation, also have a great chance of winning the thirty five lap A Main on Sautrday night.

Nine heats will be on Friday night, with the final three heats being held on Saturday night, before the B and A Mains.
